Membership Terms & Conditions

DRESS CODE

The following is considered appropriate attire:

  • Collared or turtle neck shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars, (tee-shirts, tank tops, sports jerseys are not permitted)
  • Full length trouser pants, shorts or golf skirts/skorts, (denim or athletic shorts are not permitted)
  • Golf shoes must be worn, (sandals, or shoes with metal spikes or cleats are not permitted)

Should a member be inappropriately dressed, we reserve the right to refuse access to the golf courses.

PLAY PRIVILEGES

All members must check in at the golf shop prior to starting their round. All rounds must begin on the first tee unless otherwise directed by management. All ground rules must be adhered to and respected at all times.

To ensure that there is a consistent speed of play, The Marshes Golf Club reserves the right to pair up golfers as required to assist with the management of these guidelines.

TOURNAMENT PLAY

The Marshes Golf Club will not provide compensation of any kind to members when tournament rounds interfere with playing privileges.

MEMBERSHIP INDEMNITY

Memberships are non-transferrable and do not confer any ownership or liability for the property or the asset of The Marshes Golf Club, (MGC). Membership is valid for personal greens fee only for the current golf season. MCG reserves the right to set annual fee as well the right not to renew an application. Memberships are not refundable after June 15th annually; the request for refund of membership fees before this date will only be considered for medical reasons and will be subject to an administration fee of $100.00 per individual. MGC reserves the right to revoke/suspend playing privileges and/or membership at any time.

AGREEMENT

I, the undersigned, do hereby release and agree to save harmless the Marshes Golf Club and Management and their respective officers, employees or agents, from all claims for loss, injury or damage to persons and/or property in any chosen activity, which I, or any person claiming through me or on my behalf may at any time have arising out of or connected with the operation of this activity, as well as any transport to and from the said activity.
